What to Expect: The Ballooning Empordà Experience

Your journey begins early in the morning — just as the sun begins to rise — in the small village of Colomers, about 30 minutes from Girona city. After a warm welcome and safety briefing, you’ll watch the balloon inflate before gently lifting off the ground for an hour-long flight across the Empordà region.

As you rise between 500 and 1200 metres, panoramic views unfold beneath you: the shimmering Gulf of Roses, the green patchwork of the Baix Empordà countryside, and the medieval silhouettes of Pals, Peratallada, and Monells. On clear days, you may even spot the snow-capped Pyrenees in the distance.
